The religious bible verse that was twisted is slightly interesting and is a huge part of the book. I think it is wrong to twist a bible verse like that, and I hope that no one has ever actually taken this seriously.
The social laws are very strict in this novel, worse than To Kill a Mocking Bird. We can really realize how good God is for not looking at us in hatred if we have some weird quirk. The author has already plainly set out their book in these two chapters. It explains everything quite thoroughly. This could all be a prediction on how the world might end up like with the threat of a nuclear war, but hopefully the twisting of the bible never happens. This seems like a good book and I can't wait to see more.

Chapters 3-4

At the beginning i thought that David's dad was  nice guy. I have never been so wrong. He is a cruel man who freaks out at the slightest difference between normal and quirky. He has a heart of MURDER to abnormal beings. The dream of Sophie being killed was gruesome but could possibly be a prediction. I think that David's dad might eventually try to kill David as well. later on he flips out over these huge horses but doesn't see the benefit of them.  I think we will see david's dad more later as the book goes on.
