In this part of the book, another man catches them, but they get him down. Then, they ran into other people, a village following. They didn't shoot because the people didn't know who they were. They ran into the forest. They don't hear from Katherine, so they assume she is dead. Then a gunshot goes off and scares the horses. They go into a rampage deeper in the forest. They don't stop until they get attacked by Fringes people. The Fringes people are a little more hospitable than Waknuk. They take them to a village full of Fringes people. The guy that lead them there, brought them to the Head. The Head turns out to be David's uncle. His uncle is really creepy with Rosalind and David attacks him. Then they banish him and if he comes back, they'll shoot him.
I thought better of David's uncle at first, but then, I was wrong. I think that power hungry just runs in David's family. In this part, you find out more of David's actual family that the author hasn't even hinted about from the beginning. It was pretty cool to read about that. I don't have any predictions but I am eager to read more.
Great summery, and good thoughts, I aggree that power hungry runs in David's family.
